| Bonnie Lou Bishop is a world champion yodeler with an international fan club base. Bonnie calls Cowboy Town, Tennessee home. If you can find White's Creek, you can locate Cowboy Town, home of Kick-A-Poo Lake and the Rattlesnake Saloon, where you can witness an old west gunfight and indulge in some great vittles. Bonnie was five years old when she performed in her first show. She graduated high school at 16 and immediately went on the road with her own band for the next 30 years. She has worked with some of the greats in country music such as Boxcar Willie, Charlie Pride, Reba, and legendary yodelers Roy Rogers, Rex Allen, Janet McBride, and the fabulous Patsy Montana. Bonnie gives credit to Patsy for a lot of her knowledge in the music business. In 1986, Bonnie was diagnosed with cancer and given two months to live. With the grace of God, her positive mental attitude and all the experimental drugs the doctors could induce into her, she was cured and now works with her horses, jogs, sings and yodels better than ever, and is a living example and inspiration for those who may be in a similar situation. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Bill Wright will be bringing his unique style of singing back to Cowboy Church this Sunday. Bill has been involved in music most of his life in one form or another. A chance meeting led to his first appearance at Cowboy Church. Cowboy Church producer, Billy Anderson, happened to stop in Bills antique shop in Rockwood on a slow day. Bill was picking and singing to pass the time and his talent caught Billys ear. Anderson had to explain the concept of Cowboy Church to Bill, which peaked his interest and led to the initial appearance. Bill has an 11 piece band, which is almost large enough to call an orchestra, named the River Front Band. "We do it for the love of the music," he said. The band performs on special occasions and regularly at the American Legion Hall in Harriman and also at Loudon. Bill was a square dance caller until about 20 years ago when he decided on a new course in life. He now performs country and gospel music and has just released his newest CD. |
